Youngstown LitFest in Ohio (this weekend!) starring Jennifer A Sutherland, Joe Wilkins' and Corrie Williamson's Covers, and a Fall Hello
It has been BUSY in our press home(s) as both editors reach the mid-semester height of appointments, emails, casual pet emergencies, etc. We know you know.
But we wanted to drop you a line, particularly if you’re an Ohio friend, and let you know we are tabling with 26 other presses and journals at the fall Youngstown Literary Festival this weekend, October 17-19! And we so hope to see you there. We will have books, stickers, and 50 small notebooks to give away (ignore Han’s messy kitchen counter top, see below), and HUGS. Festivals and book fairs truly are a highlight for us, and Amorak and I both love to connect with friends and new readers this way.
Our own author Jennifer A Sutherland will be presenting as well on the Friday panel Writing in the Slipstream between Literary Genres (2:45pm) alongside Sarah Carson, Sean Thomas Dougherty, and Cynthia Marie Hoffman, and if you want Jennifer to sign a copy of Bullet Points, we can make this happen! We’ll have a book signing schedule up at our table.
AND, in case you missed our August instagram splash, we revealed our designer Alban Fischer’s newest work for our forthcoming titles, Corrie Williamson’s Your Mother’s Bear Gun and Joe Wilkins’ Pastoral, 1994, and they are gorgeous, and we wanted to put them in front of your eyes once again (be on the lookout for preorder announcements soon!). It is such a privilege to work with a designer we love, and to work with two authors like Corrie and Joe on their designs:
Stay safe and see you soon in Ohio, friends!
